Which holiday is better, the Caribbean or the Asian?
So while the Caribbean has been receiving a large amount of the tourism industry, has the Asian holiday sector been biding it’s time for a strike?
Looking at all of the statistics provided by tour operators across the UK, and looking at the amount of specific holiday searches in the UK, people tourists have located a new holiday passion. The Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays have both seen an increase in the amount of people booking holidays to these fantastic places. Even the number of people searching for these holidays online has sky rocketed. Then again, why are people looking for these holidays? Basically there are 2 reasons.
Well the biggest factor is prices. These holidays have gone down in price by massive amounts. Well when you think about it, they have had to; prices across the world have been dropping. In order to keep up with some of the competition, the Asian holiday prices have really come down.
However there has to be another factor in all of this? Surely there are other reasons why tourists would like to go to these destinations. Quite simply it seems to be the true beauty of some of the resorts. Everywhere that you go, all you can find is 4 or 5 star hotels, everything is of the best quality, not to mention the service is truly amazing.
Many of the Tour Operators have started to move Asian holidays towards the top of their list for most wanted holidays. I have seen some truly shocking offers and deals to some of these luxury destinations. So is it just that as the holidays get closer to Christmas, people are looking for spa holidays, warm Christmas holidays are a little strange.
