What should I bring to vacation to Florida in February?
Im going to Florida at the end of February and just went shopping for a couple of summer dresses, shirts, and flip flops. Am i crazy for buying summer clothes for february? Im staying at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando has anyone ever heard anything about that place is it cool? my uncle invited me to go with him im guessing to babysit his daughters but would i still have fun?? its for 3days!

Summer clothes? No! (Unless you wan’t to check in at a hospital with hypothermia instead of the Ritz Carlton! lol)
Here is what we had this winter so far and plan your February!:
1st Week of Winter: High: 50s – low 60s Low: 40s 1 day 30s
2nd Week of Winter: High: 50s Low: 30s
3rd Week of Winter: High: 30s – 40s Low: 10s to 20s Snow Accumulation Brrrr!
4th Week of Winter (Now): Highs: 70s Low: 40s – 50s
5th Week of Winter (predictions): High: 50s – 60s Low: 30s – 40s
That was the winter here in Orlando Florida, personaly I would not walk in summer clothing in 10 degrees F on sleet, snow, and ice.
Bring SPRING and WINTER clothes! Weather here is unpredictable:
You won’t want to spend your winter like the people from the UK:
They came from United Kingdom to Orlando Florida in Summer Clothes, when they got there it was 32 degrees at the hottest time of the day and it was snowing, instead of going to theme parks they spent the whole day spending hundreds of dollars on winter clothes!
Compare Orlando to Dallas/Ft. Worth Tx weather, it’s almost never warm in the winter (only in Miami Fl) and briefly this week soon to end.
Grass here is completly dried out, yellow. Most plants are brown including palm trees.

February can actually be quite chilly in Florida. It gets cool at night regardless during the Winter months. I wouldn’t pack all summer clothes. You still should have a jacket or sweat shirts available.
The Ritz is a newer hotel, close to Sea World and International Drive. It’s very upscale and has some great restaurants.

Weather in Feb can be highly variable – 60-85 degrees day, 40-65 night.

i live near orlando, it’s really HOT right now. in february it wont be cold, trust me. you don’t need all summer clothes. bring a little of everything, because night time will be cold. a little bit of everything means short sleeve tees, tanks, shorts, bermuda shorts, jeans, flip flops, socks, sneakers, and a sweater or two. it wont be snowing, it will be around 65 – 85 degrees.
you can go to disney, which you have to pay for, but you don’t have to pay to go to downtown disney! theres no rides there, mostly restaurants, gift shops, staged entertainment, and a mini lego land!! theres also sea world and aquatica, which sea world is an aqua-zoo and aquatica is a seperate theme park, and theres some really nice malls such as the Florida Mall and the Mall at Millenia. downtown Orlando is really fun too, and you should see an Orlando Magic game!! you won’t be bored there :]

It’s usually in the low 60′s this time of year. Shorts are fine during the day but bring jeans and a lightweight jacket for the nights.
