   You should check out St. Augustine. It’s the nation’s oldest city and as well as historic places to see there are a lot of cool little shops around the area. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to visit [and i live in Florida as well]. Tampa is really nice, and although I haven’t been, I’ve heard Busch Gardens is a blast. Also don’t forget to check out the Keys, or Miami. Ichetucknee, which is a spring you float on a tube down for a couple hours is also a blast!    Key West might be somewhere you’d enjoy. It is quite beautiful. Ernest Hemingway lived there for a number of years and actually died there. It is also one of the #1 living/hangout spots of Jimmy Buffett.

   edit:
   Sorry, I was wrong, Hemingway didn’t die there. He just lived there for awhile and wrote "A Farewell to Arms" there. He had a bunch of cats with lots of toes (polydactyl cats) whose descendants still live there.

   There is Gatorland Zoo, Don Garlits drag race museum, Ponce Inlet lighthouse and museum, Old Towne, and much more.
