Trying to find a good beach in Florida to vacation?
My husband and I decided to plan a vacation. Maybe you can help us!
We’re not much into the night life, bars, etc.
Our vacation may consist of a couple of excursions, but mostly we want to enjoy great seafood and a beautiful beach.
We want to find a decent/affordable hotel (walking distance to the beach) on the Gulf side -or at least a great town and beach area where we can begin to look for a hotel.
What are some places that we might enjoy?

Have you considered Gulf Shores, Alabama?
You may be surprised at how nice the beaches are there. Depending on the time of year, you will normally money compared with almost anywhere in Florida. There are lots of great seafood restaurants and activities. I recommend the Gulf Shores Steamer and Bahama Bob’s. The Wharf is a great place too.
The best times of year for this beach (in my opinion) is April-June and August-October (particularly the Shrimp Festival Weekend in October!). July is just really crowded and before or after these months the weather is probably too cold.

If you are going for a week and are really looking for a quiet beach getaway, look into renting a condo or house on St George Island. You can get some great deals. It’s beautiful and quiet, just outside of Apalachicola. Take a peak at http://www.collinsvacationrentals.com . Otherwise, Destin is very pretty (between Pensacola and Panama City). Sanibel Island west of Ft Myers is really lovely, too.

Last year, I went to Siesta Key and loved it. It’s not the busy place of Miami beach and the sea is great, weather is extraordinary.

I would like to suggest Ewa Beach in Hawaii, its near Florida but the nature’s best beauty to feel and visit. We stayed for 1 month there and didn’t want to leave that place. We stayed in a condo, we got at nominal rates. You can visit for residence through http://www.davidkucic.com/ewa-beach-real-estate.
