Me and my gf want to go on a vacation in april. We can’t decide if we want to go to Florida or California. Which place has better attractions and which place has better weather in April.

My wife and I are planning on heading south for a little vacation. We want to be in Florida may 7-14. I have never been there and we are making the trip from Ohio. We are planning on hitting the gulf side and looking at either sarasota or ft. meyers currently. Our little girl loves the water, and we plan on spending most of our time at the beach. Is the water warm enough around this time? I looked on weather.com and it shows sarasota at mid 80′s in May. What are some other areas you would recommend for a family. We love being outdoors, and are wanting to know some other ideas for our vacation. Please help us out! We are open to any suggestions. Thanks

I’m thinking to visit the first week of August, to sight-see and enjoy theme parks/attractions, etc.. Probably will go to Orlando, and other popular or nice areas.

Hi, we have a vacation planned at Orlando Florida, we’ll reach there on Wednesday night and will be there for almost a week.
I’m really concerned how it would go looking at the weather (Fay!) now
But we have booked everything more than 3 months back.
AND everything is booked for 6 people.. so just can’t afford to cancel!

I checked the weather for Miami for May 1-3, 2009 and there will be isolated thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday what should I expect?

I plan on traveling to Florida, but I don’t want to go when the weather is scorching hot. I like the season to be mild without a lot of rain.
I am looking for a really great place to vacation in Florida. We are college students so are budget is limited but we have started saving already for this trip. We want to do lots of things, not party every night. We were thinking swimming with dolphins, aquariums, good fun restaurants, great beach that maybe provides good shelling. Basically, we want to spend the day on the beach relaxing and enjoying the weather, the afternoon visiting fun/unique places and the nights eating at a nice restaurant and maybe heading out on the town.
