Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

Where is Pagudpud? Pagudpud or Pagudpod as its at times called is charming one day and great the next. countless let know it’s the Boracay of the North, We declare it is Boracay as it formerly was! And that’s why it’s so popular. It is Boracay as it was 25 years ago! The natural white sands of Saud Beach are situated at Pagudpud.

The drowsy rural coastal village of Pagudpud is situated on the most Northern extremity of Luzon, in the Philippines and is about 50 miles up the seacoast from Laoag City, the capital of Ilocos Norte province.  It is also roughly 350 miles north of Manila, you can drive, catch a autobus or take a flight to Laoag City.

Pagudpud is best visited in the dry season

The area is located to the northwards of Bangui and its now renowned windmills and inland lies the monumental Cordillera Mountain Range, the largest mountain range in the Philippines. over the other side of the mountain range lies the province of Cagayan. To the North and the West are the warm waters of the South China Sea.

foreign tourists are today becoming very much interested and lately one of Australia’s most respected and eminent foreign travel writers ranked Saud Beach as Number 1 on the list of the Top Ten best Asian Beaches. discover Pagudpud before all the other tourists find out about it.

The local vicinity comprises genuinely fine-looking and almost abandoned beaches, dramatic waterfalls, gorgeous picturesque vistas, and a real genuine get away from the rat race feeling. It is no wonder that so many movies and television commercials are filmed here. consider a beach without too many tourists, no noisy jet skis, no strip of bars and not even a McDonalds restaurant!

Pagudpud is located amongst leafy verdant mountains, lush valleys, rolling hills and flat coastal plains. The 20,000 folks who live in Pagudpud and the surrounding region subsist on rice agriculture, common agriculture, fishing, and the fresh fish and lobsters are delicious and economical here and more recently tourism is increasing.

Because Pagudpud is so uncommercialized there are limited places to stay and you need to book well ahead.

The most outstanding part about Pagudpud is the charming people, get genuine Ilocano hospitality and friendliness, not only the most amazing beach in Asia but the friendliest place in Asia.

Ilocos Norte is synonymous with balmy tropical sunshine, cobalt blue skies; the most gorgeous aquamarine blue and crystal clear water and effervescent white sands. Does it sound too good to be true? It honestly is that beautiful! make Pagudpud your next vacation destination

For An Exotic And Rewarding Vacation, Visit Japan

Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

For most Americans the idea of visiting Japan can be intimidating. They immediately focus on the fact that the Japanese speaking a drastically different language. In addition with the scene on television is a place that is terrifically overcrowded. The reason that they see this on TV is because it is an anomaly in Japan itself usually only experienced during the holidays when nearly everyone has the same time off. We experienced much the same thing during the Christmas holidays.

The Japanese are much more polite in their social relationship with one another. Politeness is a strong social norm and keeps a highly populated island calm and running smoothly. When two people meet they bow politely, with the elder acquaintance given the greater respect. In fact, respect for the elderly is so formalized that their seating is reserved even on crowded trains.

Besides this overt politeness and the language, another significant difference is our diets. In the United States, barely a day will go by without each of us consuming bread in some fashion. To an even greater degree, every Japanese consumes rice every day. This is common among easter cultures, as in China, there words for ‘How are you?’ literally translates to ‘Have you eaten rice today?’ So it is little surprise that every home in Japan has at least one or more rice cookers.

These devices vary in sophistication, much like bread makers do here in the US. But for straight functionality at a value price, a Zojirushi rice cooker has taken the lions share of the market. They are available here and many Americans are finding that cooked this way, especially if your model allows for delayed time cooking, makes rice an easy alternative to bread, though on an occasional basis. College students also find them good products because the rice can be stored conveniently for a long time, cooked when needed.

If you visit Japanese home, make sure you are wearing good socks without holes. That is because you will be required to remove your shoes before entering the home. The Japanese feel very strongly that one should not track dirt from outside into the house. Most foreigners interested in your brief time with this cultural difference adopted it for their own home.

Partly because the homes in Japan at the time event, which are particularly difficult to clean thoroughly, should mud get tracked in or liquid be spilled on them. In general, handheld vacuums are the preferred device to clean the floors. If a tatami mat becomes stained. It will have to be removed and replaced a task that is much simpler than removing and replacing wood flooring or carpeting.

The Japanese people are warm and receptive, and even the slightest attempt to speak Japanese is rewarded with smiles and encouragement. It pace of life in Japan can be hectic just as in the United States. But when they relax their attachment to enjoy in celebrating nature and history make it a fascinating place to visit.

England Vacations And Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Bring to mind Nottingham and mostly all visitors recall the legend of Sir Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest and though folklore attracts many folk year after year there is plenty more to the city of Nottingham than meets the eye. Infact the city of Nottingham is home to a respectable selection of interesting tourist attractions making it an excellent base for a short break and the article below discusses the city and a few of attractions in Nottingham, and also some guest houses offering Nottingham B&B accommodation.

The city of Nottingham is in Nottinghamshire, in the East Midlands of  England. As well as Sherwood Forest, the legend of Robin Hood, his merry men and the Sheriff of Nottingham, Nottingham is also renowned for the lace making business especially during the Industrial Revolution when it gained a worldwide reputation for excellence.

Nottingham Lace Market

At one time the heart of the worldwide lace industry, during the time of the British Empire, Nottingham’s Lace Market is, today, a protected heritage area. It  is home to many splendid examples of 19th Century industrial architecture. The Lace Market wasn’t like a normal market area, instead of featuring stalls and salesmen, the lace market was a number of warehouses and salesrooms displaying and selling lace. After the decline in the lace industry the area became rundown however, today, the majority of the fine warehouses have been restored and renovated for alternative use for instance photographic studios and similar. The Nottingham Lace Market is a popular tourist attraction.

Shire Hall & Galleries of Justice

Not a great distance from the Lace Market can be found the Galleries of Justice in Shire Hall. Shire Hall is a Georgian civic building featuring Neoclassical columns, pilasters and dome. The front of the hall has, if you look at it closely, a spelling error Goal instead of Gaol. The Hall has two excellently preserved courtrooms from the Victorian period plus old cells, a women’s prison, bath house, an Edwardian police station and a prisoner’s exercise yard.

Nottingham is a fantastic place to have a short city break. You will find lots to see and do within the city and an selection number of tourist attractions nearby. Places well worth a visit include; Newstead Abbey, Hardwick Hall and Wollaton Hall.

As all all bed & breakfast in England, accommodation in Nottingham is commonly first class at a reasonable rate and many visitors choose to stay in Nottingham for part of their break and then elsewhere for the remaining nights.

A Massage From Your Partner May Not Be Enough

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

My girlfriend is always asking me if I want a massage and although I will always agree they are never that good and end up hurting me more than anything else, I know I am not alone here. So what did I decide was the best thing to do? Go on one of those spa holidays. I had to take the girlfriend with me really didnt I, however I went to a spa here in the UK before I went out for that big break.

The First Massage

I walked into the building feeling more than a bit nervous because this was the first time I had stepped into a spaand the first time I experienced professional masaage. I was of course expecting a lovely young woman to give me the massage and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed! This woman told me where to sit and what my problem was and as soon as her hands hit my back I felt like I had been touched by an angel. After the quick session I walked out feeling great, it had done wonders. I had to go on that break now.

Choosing

The thing is there are so many locations from Bali spa holidays to Egypt spa holidays that I just had no idea on where to go. In the end we actually settled for Egypt as we figured we could have a second week over there checking out the valley of the kings.

The Stay

The break was simply amazing with a massage booked in every day along with a number of other treatments. Because the week was so relaxing we found the walking in the sun around the valley of the Kings to be a breeze.

One of the best things to do is just go and try having a professional massage, you could really find yourself likeing it.
