Planning a Florida Vacation. Which beach should we go to?
We are planning a vacation in July. We went to Daytona last year. We are thinging about St Petersburg area. I just don’t know whether to stay in a hotel on St. Pete’s or Clearwater. Also, I havent made up my mind yet. If anyone had any other suggestions, I’d be open. We just want a very swimmable, safe, fun beach.

I take Miami beaches as the still most perfect and swimmable ones to go to. The Fischer Island Resort is a great hotel there. But since you are also considering Clearwater, which is an equally good place to stay if you’re into the beach, the Sandpearl resort is one of the topnotch hotels there. I would recommend Marco Island or Naples area. The areas are nice and the white sand beaches are the best.
The Gulf of Mexico waters are nearly 90 degrees.
S/W Florida is very beautiful!
