Jacksonville Beach, Florida!
Woke up with a wild hair wanting to go somewhere for a very quick road trip. coachgirl and I chose to visit a mutual friend in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Had to drive back very early the very next morning, but boy did we have a blast!

How nice to be able to take a road trip like that! The wind is really kicking up there….don’t have those breezes in Tennessee. I lived in the Tampa/St.Pete area for close to 20 years and the Ft.Myers area for 10 years.

when i lived in st. pete there was the top of a palm tree right outside my front door… i hated the damn thing!! Palmetto bugs everywhere!! (usually in my apartment)

I go to Jax to visit friends at least two times a year — I’ll be going this summer with my girlfriend to visit a pipe buddy and his wife. He just started to get into pipe making and is waiting to smoke his first beautiful freehand (will break it in with Hal ‘O the Wynd) ’til I get there. Hope you enjoyed Jax beach!

You said you would get there Anthony- just what girlie needed,and you too. Makes me wanna get to our nearest beach though will have to wait a month as will need thermals on at the mo. Glad you had a good chill.
