Is this the best florida vacation ever, or what?
My family and I are going to disney in 35 days. It will be my 1st time flying and being to disney, and out of the delaware valley! (i live in NJ) We are going to disney and staying in the swan hotel for 4.5 days, then we are heading south to a beach resort for the last 4.5 days for some R&R. Now, I need some advice on what to pack, wear and do and not to do, since its my 1st time traveling. Any thoughts from experienced travelers???? Also i am traveling with my little 4 year ols bro and 2 year old sis, any tips for the little ones?

Bring snacks and bottled water for the little ones and yourself. I even packed pbj sandwiches for my kids when we last went to Disney – the food is expensive and kids usually will take one bite and then won’t eat anymore… total waste of $ and food. Bring Goldfish crackers, water, sun screen, hats, camera, and very comfortable shoes. There is a lot of walking to do. You can rent double strollers if the little ones get tired. It is really a lot of fun, you will have a blast. Oh, don’t forget the hand sanitizer before eating.

Use sunscreen! I cannot stress this enough. I have lived in Florida for more than half my life. I am from the Philadelphia area, though. People from that area think the sun isn’t that hot (especially if there’s a nice breeze), they won’t burn, etc. They really underestimate it and end up burned. I believe sunburn is one of the major reasons for toursits visiting hospital emergency rooms. Especially with the little kids, get a baby sunscreen with a high SPF. Just be careful around their face and eyes, if the sunscreen gets into their eyes they will be screaming in agony, it’s very painful.

Bring sunscreen and anything you would need in the summer time. It gets really warm there in June/July. Make sure you visit the TSA website to see what you can bring on the plane. There are a lot of restrictions.

wear comfortable shoes for you and all your family cuz you will do alot of walking and waiting and get plenty of sunscreen and sunglasses. and carry with you a small first aid kit that can fit in a purse for cuts and brusies. and if your going to go to disney world i suggest you get autograph books with plenty of pens cuz the charecters are out their when you get their and it will make the kids real happy. and planty of film for the camera and cloths cuz it does get hot over their and you will need to change constant from sweat.and why your over their use the buses it will take you to any park in the disney section. and if you guys have never been their they collect pins disney pins, bus pins just ask them and they will tell you, you can collect all kinds of pins. oh and i must recommend that you go see nemo at epcot it is realy a great show for the adults and kids your bro, and sis, will love it and if you can get a brochure of all the parks and their attractions so you get an idea what you want to see.well have a great time and god bless.
