We’re going to Daytona Beach for vacation. What is there to do? Are there some waterparks/amusment park nearby? What are some affordable but great hotels?
We’re going to Daytona Beach for vacation. What is there to do? Are there some waterparks/amusment park nearby? What are some affordable but great hotels?

Daytona Beach to me has some of the nicest beaches along the Atlantic coast of Florida.
Besides the beaches, one of the big things there is Daytona International Speedway, which is where they race the Daytona 500. Keep this in mind, because it’s a nice place to visit. However, you won’t want to stay in a hotel too close. Drivers practice all the time there, and if you happen to be a late sleeper, it can be very noisy.
There are also racing museums, which are quite interesting. There is also the driving experience, which you get to either drive or ride along in a car that goes faster than you’ve ever been on a street.
There are some plantations and other historic sites around as well as a light house in a town just over from Daytona Beach. There’s even a haunted homes tour.
