Florida vacation?
I’m planning a labor day trip to florida this year and I dont want to do miami (too trendy) or orlando (too touristy), but I would like somewhere where my husband and I can chill out near the beach and there are fun things to do ie; aquariums, beach, maybe snorkeling and some good restaurants and nightlife. I was thinking maybe Boca Raton or Ft. Lauderdale or the keys, but I dont know anything about either. Can someone please give me good suggestions on which or where to go and what fun things there are to do. Thanks in advance

Pompano Beach, Hollywood Beach. Ft. Lauderdale is great, I used to live there. The beaches I mentioned are all great, and not quite as crowded as the beach in Ft Lauderdale this time of year. You can get tourist information at most of these towns and find lots of things to do. The water at these beaches are pristine. The water starts to get yucky when you go further north. On the gulf coast the water and beaches are great. They have white sand and beautiful water. The keys do not have natural beaches, they are all man made and not very nice, especially at Key West. Those beaches were always really dirty. We vacationed in the Keys a lot, still do. The only real night life is in Key West.

i live in florida a lot of the water is really disgusting for the beach
go to Panama City in florida it is on the gulf of mexico and the water is breath taking

I’m a Orlando resident, and I think Key West is great, my wife and I have had wonderful times there. It has everything your looking for plus, check it out.
