Florida vacation ??
I am going to Florida in June … I want to visit DisneyWorld (2-3 days) and Tampa (4 days).
My questions are:
1) Should I book a room at one of the DisneyPark hotels or somewhere near the park?
2) Is there a good public transport. connection between Orlando and Tampa ?
3) Any additional advices?
Thank you very much for your help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are only staying in orlando a couple of days you may as well use the disney property budget property like the pop centuary or one of the all stars. they are fine as abase and you can use the disney transport system. if you decide to stay of property try lake bona vista as its really near to down town disney which is helpful.
there is public transport between tampa and orlando but it would take you a lot longer using it to get there, prehaps you could considerer hiring a car. Although I myself prefer not to and have done multiple long trips by public transport without incidents.
Hope that helps

if your going to Florida sure do a day of Disney but number two sound the best out of the whole trip you’ll get to see more realistic Florida that way

Hi nice hair I think you should stay in Disney for the 2-3 days so you wont have to worry about transportation to Disney parks
Then I would rent a car to Tampa nice drive not that long anyway. While your in Tampa it is a short drive over to Clearwater and St Pete awesome places to go. Love going there with my friends. If you used public transport you wont be able to experience the beauty of FLs west coast.

I would get a hotel close to the parks it cost mroe to be staying in a hotel in the park I’ve stayed a night in the park and the prices are so high.
your better off going to a hotel closer to the parks instead of getting one right in the theme park.

I strongly recommend you stay at a WDW resort especially because you’ll be there in the summer when it’s very crowded. If you’re a resort guest you’ll have access to extra magic hours which means a park will open up early or stay open late ONLY for those who stay at one of Disney’s resorts. Actually there’s also a Hilton close to WDW that offers this advantage too.
I also recommend that you stay at a resort that’s nearest to the park you’re most interested in spending most of your time so you won’t waste a lot of time on their buses. They can be so slow getting you to the parks quite often.
And one last thing, get to the parks at least 45 minutes before the park opens if you can, decide beforehand what ride or attraction is most important to you, head over to the fastpass machine and get your free fastpass for that ride. It will tell you what time to return. Here’s a heads up fastpasses do run out especially for the most popular rides. This is why I advise you get to the park early.

Hope this helps! Have a wonderful time!!!!
