Gay travel to Mexico is very accessible as there are many anti-discrimatory laws in place and homosexuality is legal. Gay travel is welcomed in many places and Puerto Vallarta, Tijuana, Mexico City, Guadalajara and Cancun.  Acapulco for gay travel is ideal.  All of these destinations have resident gay communities.

An excellent and exotic place to visit is Puerto Vallarta as it has plenty of gay clubs and also is very close to the beach. The night life is quite wild and all the bars are gay friendly. Several of the clubs and bars are designated gay and a few choices include The Palm, Los Amigos, Apaches, The Ranch, Los Balcones, Paco Paco, and El Morbo.

The beach is also right in Puerto Vallarta. The gay section of the beach is called Blue Chairs because of the blue lounge chairs available for use. There are plenty of other activities in the area besides clubbing, bars and the beach. You can go hiking and see many of the beautiful nature scenes such as waterfalls and lagoons. You can enjoy a lovely sail or follow any of the many trails.

Mexico City for gay couples is very old and can be a great vacation. for gay couples. A lot has been done to try to clean up the air pollution and you can visit the Aztec ruins right outside the city as well as see the many historical landmarks, the Basilica and art galleries found within the city. In Mexico City the obvious gay area is the Zona Rosa.

If you are looking to spend your days on the beach then Cancun is your spot. Cancun is the largest vacation spot in Mexico and is located on the Yucatan peninsula. There is all night clubbing and discos, plenty of water sports. You can also get away from the constant crowded beaches and visit the nearby villages. Chichen Itza and Talum can also be visited form Cancun.

If you are put off from visiting Mexico City due to the pollution then Guadalajara is an excellent city of choice. Guadalajara has less crime and pollution then Mexico City. The city is also much more modern and contains many galleries, restaurants, museums and traditional Mexican architecture. For tequila lovers Guadalajara should be your first stop as tequila is the drink of choice.

The geography of Mexico is so varied that you will not have any trouble finding something to do. You can visit the desert to the north, the volcanic are in the center and the rainforests to the south. No matter which city you visit there is some gay friendly area. The gay scene in Guadalajara is very large and you must stop in Zona Rosa in Mexico City.
