Dose anyone know of any family vacation resorts if Florida.?
I’m planning a family vacation to Florida. There will be older childed between the ages of 10-14 as well as adults. I’m looking for a resort that is family friendly without being to kiddish. 5 night stay and around 16 people total so I’m looking for a resort that has large suites. Orlando and Kissimmee area or some place close by.
Somewhere outside of disney.

You can find pristine white sand beaches with crystal clear waters at St. George Island, Florida. My family loves spending vacations here during summer. We usually rent a beachfront vacation home that can accommodate two families (my sister and her children also comes with us occasionally). My sister and I split the rent and expenses on food and beach activities. The availability of the kitchen allows us to eat in sometimes so we can save on expenses. It’s really more convenient to stay in a rental home than a hotel especially when traveling with a big group.

I recommend Fantasy World Vacation Villas. My husband and I stay there often and always enjoy our stay. The units are 2-story Mediterranean-style villas which sleep 6, have 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen with everything you’d need, washer and dryer, and 2 bathrooms. The resort has 3 pools and hot tubs, a great playground area, activities for everyone, free transportation to the parks, and they even offer discounted park tickets to guests.

There are a few that are perfect, one being Calypso Cay. They have huge water slides for their pools as well as a mini-golf course. It’s even within five minutes of Disney. The whole resort has a tropical feel and although they have many amenities geared for the little ones, adults will be more than impressed and comfortable.
